I kind of love gaming and has really improved my intelligence contrary what others would suggest. I actually started gaming when I was only 5 and I played all gaming console on the market except Wii and Wii U 🙂

Can’t wait for Xbox One and PS4..

True gamers will never under-estimate the importance of gaming with buttons. And you play Zuma? 😮 .. Wow nice, I played that only a few times, I am a hardcore gamer to the extreme.

      Thanks for visiting mate. 🙂

I’m not all that the techie type. When it comes to gaming, what I know and enjoy best is soccer! That’s all!

Hmm, I don’t really dig much into soccer. My favorite games are TPS and Sandbox with Metal Gear Solid being best game and Grand Theft Auto being my automatic favorite.

I used to like the PES games but over the years, they have been so so crappy!

Another reason why consoles might not be replaced would be that there is rampant piracy in Android segment. Unless there will be tens of bilions of techicaly advanced tablets avable whose large number will cover up for huge piracy looses, most of real AAA game developers would not want to release their games on tablets/smartphones.

Another reason might be that consoles are much cheaper compared to “real” gaming tablets. That razor 1000$ beast tablet is too unpractical and expensive for most gamers to afford and might not last for long which is another reason.

Consoles have life cycles around 10 years. This produces stable enviroment for game development and optimisation. PC’s are not that stable but have huge brute power which cover’s their unstability but Tablets are very limited by heating problem which result’s in energy/heat efficient architecture which is weak. Also tablet enviroment is extremely unstable, digital only and extremely prone to piracy.

Tablet developers like razor are trying to add buttons and performance but due to above mentioned problems they might not succeed.

This is how I feel about it
    Sorry for my bad English

      Hello Bongo,

Wow, your comment is truly fantastic and educative. I can’t believe I skipped the piracy point. You said it all and made added more points to the article.

I totally agree with you on all the points raised, and for your English? It’s not bad, I didn’t spend any extra effort in trying to read what have communicated.

Thanks and have a nice day friend :).

Sorry but you’re arguing with points no one ever made. There saying years down the road when tablets apparently catch up to consoles, and the physical button thing is not a problem seeing as there is tons of controller support for android and android games. I personally do not think tablets are going to replace consoles though. I don’t care what the damn games are playing on but even if tablets catch up to consoles not everyone will have the latest and the greatest and Devs will have to take that into account with there games or they will lose money. Also anything can happen 10 years down the road with an already flooded android market. Companies try new things.
