That is a great point very well made. I have received messages from lots of bloggers with respect to how they can get comments on their posts but I always do tell me, blog comments does not in any way tell the world you’re a successful blogger or not.

It is the continuous quality you continue to channel out is what matters the most.

    Thanks bro for this insight!

That was an excellent blog post! I agree. I don’t think the amount of comments measures the success of your blog. Because the majority of people who leave comments on your blog are other bloggers. Many times customers don’t leave comments. So, if you are getting a bunch of comments and not making any money. You can’t say your blog is really successful. Thanks for sharing your insights with us!

I don’t agree with your point. Comments are necessary for a blog. May be it is not for the popularity but every blogger try to search the blog with higher comments. It is because of there blogger will get to connect with many other bloggers. Networking is what really matter and commenting is the major part of it.

Hmmm! Nosa, in as much as i really do not want to disagree with you, i think you should consider some things about blog comment. Comments has been proven to give a blog more authority in searches (Search engine) . Lately, i noticed that blog comments are often crawled by search engines, and when users are found making researches concerning this same comments, there is a chance for such blog to surface its content first.

You may have your point, but i think i should doubt a little bit. Thanks for your opinion though, guess i really do have to see reasons with you to some extend.

I know blog commenting is very hard but its good to forget blog commenting when you have very good social media fans and a decent email list. Many bloggers tend to get traffic from Search engines.
But thanks for pointing out some nice facts!

Spot on. When it comes to blogging, we often bother about the numbers. I stopped bothering. Each time I write an article, I just pray and hope it would help at least one person who really needs the message. I concentrate more on the impact than the numbers. I believe that’s what we all should be striving for.
