Most bloggers and webmasters crave to join the Google Adsense program, but it has really been a hard for some people. They give up, believing the system doesn’t work. Goodnews! The system works like a charm, I am going to show you how to get Google Adsense approval. Also, don’t forget to protect your WordPress blog from hackers.
Alright, I am not providing any magical steps, but legitimate methods that will work for you, as it as worked for a good number of bloggers under my mentor-ship. In this article, which is a little bit lengthy, you will learn how to get Google Adsense approval. If you are determined to get into the system, then you should be patient enough to read through this article. Have you ever thought of how to to stop spam on WordPress permanently? I would go through that guide if I were you.
Warning: The tips shared here are solely gotten from personal experiences and those of friends. I do not work in Google, neither is TechRez having any form or relationship with Google, unless for being enlisted into the Google Adsense program.
Let me also say that while Google Adense looks great, once you get approved, you must guard it and ensure you comply with all Google Adsense Terms of Service. Once you are banned from the system, it is a life time ban. There is little or no chance Google will reconsider your request to join them. I do not know how they do this, but they do it so well, that even if you mistakenly get past the verification and get approved, you would be kicked out of the system once their sophisticated bot gets the suspicious trigger.
Get Google Adsense Approval – Fundamental Ethics
1. Avoid Plagiarism
One of the fundamental things to get Google Adsense Approval is to be creative, write original and high quality contents that provokes value.
Before blogs are considered into the Adsense program, bots scan through the blog for original contents, after which it is subject to manual review.
If you fail in the steps, by having higher percentage of plagiarized contents on your blog, there is no chance you get an approval.
Hint: Write 20 high quality, original SEO optimized articles within two weeks. Create an action plan to achieve this.
2. Avoid Nulled Themes/Templates
Google frowns at nulled script because they contain malicious contents which can harm visitors. Most times, nulled or cracked themes come with unhealthy links structured strategically at the footer or widgets. The links could point to casino or adult sites, Google has zero tolerance to such sites, and they won’t spare blogs which promote such sites by way of linking as well.
To get Google Adsense approval, you need to make your mind that you are ready to be legitimately admitted into the system. You just have to take a deliberate step to get free template that has no link spam, or better still go for a premium template if your wallet can afford it.
Should Adsense bot visits your blog and finds a single banned URL on your blog, you are surely going to lose out in any chance of getting approved on Google Adsense.
3. Simple Navigation
While this is grossly overlooked by most bloggers and webmasters, Google takes this a little bit serious. In Google Adsense Terms of Service, it is clear that as a blogger, your blog has to be very easy to navigate.
Remember, you are writing for humans, Google love blogs that are easy to navigate and not off-putting to visitors, as this reduces bounce rate considerably. So, if you are thinking of how to get Google Adense approval, you should also have in the back of your mind, how you want visitors to navigate through your blog without losing sweat.
4. Appropriate Image Credit Credit
It would shock a lot of bloggers that the issue of plagiarism, which was discussed earlier in this article isn’t connected to article writing alone. Images are very important, but there can be very trickish.
That an image is found in Google Image repository doesn’t means it’s free. The images belong to people, so you have got to be smart when crediting images. You must give credit to the original owners of images being published on your blog.
If this is posing too difficult, you can use free image repository like Flickr so you don’t have copyright infringement. Now that you are so passionate about how to get Google Adsense approval, you have to be careful when working with images. This way, your chances of getting into the Google Adsense program isn’t compromised.
Get Google Adsense Approval – Digging Further
5. Your Domain Age
In exception to India and Pakistan which requires a 6-months old domain name for Google Adsense approval, every other country requires a minimum of 3-months. Within these few months, Google wants you to keep publishing great articles, optimizing your blog for search engines, increasing traffic and within that time frame also, Google believes you would have gotten at least 20-articles published.
In this day, Google seem to have relaxed with the issue of domain age, I have seen a rare amount of bloggers who got their approved Adsense account under 14-days. It’s worked and it could work for you as well. You just have to be optimistic that things are going to happen your way.
6. Remove Other Advertising Network
This is a big issue, but some bloggers still fall for it. While you await Google Adsense approval, you should ensure that no other Advertising network runs on your blog. Ad services like Infolinks, Media.net and Chikita should be temporally removed.
Once you get Google Adsense approval, you could add them back but be careful not to violate one Advertising network policy for the other and the reverse
7. Avoid Google Stop Words
If you ever wish to get Google Adsense approval, you have to look into this issue that a lot people really take for granted. You know, there are a lot of Google stop words that you may have unintentionally added to your blog posts, avoid them and find an alternative to them. Never publish unclad images on your blog, doing so might give you cheap traffic but you won’t get a pass into the Adsense network.
Hint: In your spare time, do a little research on what Google stop words are.
8. Organic Traffic
You need to submit your blog to Google and Bing, this ensures that your blog articles are indexed on search engine. If you are on Blogger platform, you can learn how to submit Blogger sitemap to Google, Bing and Yahoo. WordPress users can use Google XML sitemap plugin, don’t forget to register on Google Webmaster tools and verify your blog.
