What screen glass does the BlackBerry Z30 uses?
Pretty much users have asked the question, but no official statement has clarified it.
But I do have an answer; BlackBerry Z30 doesn’t have a gorilla glass! It is not scratch resistance, in fact, the Z10 proves to be a better scratch resistance device than the Z30.
BlackBerry Z30 uses a glass-weaved carbon fibre backing and a Super AMOLED display. It retains the same screen resolution of the Z10 — 1280×720 pixels.

One peculiar advantage of BlackBerry Z30 over most Android phones is that you can use the device in a beach, without straining your eyes or increasing the brightness to view the screen. The display looks so great under the sun and leaves you totally overwhelmed.
My advice is that you protect your Z30 screen buy using a screen-protector. I have seen a couple of users who complained of their Z30 screen having so much scratch which makes them disappointed.
BlackBerry could have easily scored a cheap point using Gorilla Glass. Why the company opted out of this idea is completely beyond me.
Final advice, get yourself a screen-protector because Gorilla Glass isn’t providing any form of protection.
