I have always said blogging was a serious business and should anyone want to become a pro-blogger he has to be ready for the challenges ahead. I asked myself this question; do I need a blogging mentor? The vibrations that resounded from my body was a Yes!
How Do You Find A Blogging Mentor?
To find a blogging mentor you don’t need to go to the labor market or place an advertisement. The blogger’s post you love reading the most in any blog is the person who can effectively assume that role as a mentor. Before I decided to be a blogger, I spent a good couple of hours daily, reading news and information in the internet, but I kept re-visiting a particular blog, automatically I became a consistent reader. I loved the way he writes, it was not so lengthy but it carried all the necessary information I needed.
Initially, I had only wanted gaming news as I am lover of video games, Ben Duka, who writes for Psxextreme did not only give me gaming news, he initiated the spark that kicked-off my blogging career. I sent him an e-mail, and told him how I felt. At first, I thought he would never reply me.. but there was the bang, I got an email alert; it was Ben Duka. The reply was one of the best things that happened to me as a blogger. His encouragement was simply fanstastic.

One of the first things you would learn in associating with a fellow blogger who is miles or yards ahead of you is how to construct your blog. I believe if your favorite blog was clumsy, you would not return to it over and over again. I learnt that blogging was all about the passion and not necessary about smiling home to the bank.
Once you can overcome pride and really call someone a mentor, he would teach you freely in days or weeks what you would have spent years learning with multiple failures and regrets.
