Samsung’s Galaxy S5, Gear 2 and Gear Fit will officially hit Nigerian markets on April 16 and there is a gift for anyone who makes a pre-order
In February, South Korean tech giant Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S5 at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona. Now, the company has set April 16 as the launch date to launch its hotly anticipated smartphone into the Nigerian market.
Samsung’s flasgship devices which include the Galaxy S5, Gear Fit and Gear 2 would be simultaneously launched in West Africa at a Galaxy S5 Premier event. The company has already started taking pre-orders and there is a gift for everyone who pre-orders any of Samsung’s latest devices.
“Customers who take advantage of the pre-order campaign for the smartphone are entitled to a free Galaxy S5 S-View cover. We will also be having a promotion on the first day of sale of the device for our consumers, where individuals who buy the Galaxy S5 stand a chance of winning a free Galaxy Gear Fit,” Brovo Kim, Samsung’s managing director for West Africa said.
One of the most impressive features of Galaxy S5 is the finger print scanner which provides a secure, biometric screen locking mechanism. There is also an optical heart rate reader carefully integrated to the camera LED flash making the smartphone a complete monster device.
