Most people don’t realize that successful bloggers and unsuccessful bloggers don’t differ substantially in their abilities. They vary in their desire to reach their potentials. To become the blogger we want to aspire, we must choose. The good news is that we all have the powers to live a great live as a blogger or otherwise.
Earning from blogging isn’t automatic. There have been lots of stories floating all over the internet, some claim to have the perfect touch to making money overnight. Lots of incoming bloggers have fallen and some are still falling for these kinds of stories. Do you wish to become another failure by merging with the mediocre majority? Or do you want to make a difference by embracing excellence? The choice is yours.
Any success that is not long term insured is no success. Blogging needs commitment. Commitment is the key to success, never under-estimate the incredible power of commitment.
Road Map To Your First $700
Niche
If you make a wrong decision in choosing your niche, blogging can really become miserable. This is the most important aspect of blogging. If you get this right, every other thing will begin to fall in place.
Believing that one particular niche has an automatic birth right to success is an error; a wrong mindset. No niche has monopoly of making you earn; you only need to polish your blog to the tune of excellence.
Traffic
You can’t earn from a blog that has no traffic. It’s the traffic that brings the revenue and that is why I emphasized on commitment as the ingredient to success. Initially, your great contents won’t be read by anyone, you just have to take a cup of coffee and keep your spirits high.
Learn to share your articles on social networks, bookmarking sites and optimize your blog with best search engine optimization techniques.
Realizing Your First $700
You will need to stay committed to your blog and even if you fail, you can always press the restart button. Every unfinished goal is the direct result of broken commitments. A commitment is what inspires you to perform to the best of your abilities.
There are several ways to make money from your blog; the list I have compiled represents the most popular and surest way to make that goal become a reality. You can make a choice of which methods best works for you.
1. Third-Party Advertising Network
There are lot of third-party advertising networks like Google Adsense and Media.net. They represent one of the easiest ways to earn from your blog, all you need to do is place a piece of code on your blog, and relevant ads would be served.
Earning from these ad programs would be ridiculous at first, but if you keep delivering rich contents, you could see a rise in earnings. If you decide to take this option, you must read their terms of service conclusively to avoid penalties which might include exclusion from participation.

2. Affiliate Marketing
To become a successful affiliate marketer, you need to have a considerate level of trust. It is also important to promote only products and services you trust. Users are going to be purchasing whatever you are marketing, and you don’t want be associated with a bad reputation.
There are a legion of companies who will pay you commission for selling their products, the more leads you generate, the more revenue you get. Affiliate Marketing requires a great deal of commitment, and you should market only things that are relevant to your blog.
A health blogger should not suddenly see him promoting a Leo Messi shirt and a soccer blogger should not be tempted into promoting an herbal drug. Having a great understanding of how affiliate marketing works, will let you make the right decisions and maximize earnings.
3. Direct Advertisement
This is unlike third-party advertisement; you can directly sell ad blocks on your blog and have complete access to 100% of the funds. Third-party advertisers will collect a certain percentage from your earnings, because they are responsible for finding the clients.
You can try your luck, find companies relevant to your blog and politely ask them to become a sponsor.
4. Sponsored Posts
I have an excellent list of five websites that will pay you to blog. As you grow your blog, you will also start to receive direct sponsored post request on your mail box. This is where danger looms, if you are not careful, you can practically make your blog see a sudden fall.
Too much sponsored posts can dent the quality of contents in your blog, everything has to be done on your discretion.

5. Become A Consultant
Being a consultant means you know the nitty-gritty of whatever services you are selling. I have seen a good number of bloggers who also qualify as SEO experts. When you join their exclusive list by paying a few dollar bills, you get access to new ideas. Some will even allot a one-to-one time based plan with their users. You too can achieve such a glorified status, but you have to be sure that you have a complete grasp of the knowledge you are selling.
If you lose money, it doesn’t really matter, losing one’s health is worrisome but losing one’s character is disastrous. Take that as a food for thought.
6. Donate Button
This can really be helpful, PayPal offers seamless integration and you can have that donate button on your blog within few minutes.

7. Miscellaneous
You can develop your products and sell to readers, organize webinars and sell e-books that can genuinely solve the problems of your readers.
Over To You
Earning money is easy but earning money that guarantees a long term success is difficult. If you develop the right mindset, constantly committed to delivering high quality contents in a blog that is simple and easy to navigate, I can assure you that you are just a few steps away from making your first $700. What do you think friend?

Hi Nosa,
Making an income online does take time, most people who get started think that they can do it quickly and easily.
Some of these methods that you mention, I’ve never heard of. I will have to check out Sponsored posts, I’ve heard quite a few people talking about this.
We all just have to remember that it does take time, as long as we don’t quit there’s no reason why we won’t succeed. Thanks for sharing these resources, I know that they will help me out.
Nosa E Nosa
Hello Susan,
You said it all, making money from blogging might not happen in the first one year, but if we can remain focused, things would always get better.
I was watching an interview of one the famous entertainment bloggers in my country and she said; she never got anything significant from blogging until after 4-years.
So when we see such success story, we also have to put into consideration the sacrifices that have been paid.
Thanks for your warm contribution and I hope SponsoredReviews works for you. Have a nice day 🙂

This is my first visit to your blog Nosa,
And i can see your efforts, you’re really trying man, keep it up. Making money from the internet is not that easy neither is it a rocket science.
Anyone can do it so long you’re ready to put down the works required. You have to start from taking care of the fundamentals and from there, you can now scale things up.
All the methods you mentioned here are truly the things that works when it comes to monetizing a blog but, the best thing is to always pick one or two strategy and follow it up until you start seeing some significant result.
Thanks for sharing Nosa and here is wishing you more blogging $$$$$$ 🙂

Hey Nosa,
I think if you are serious about making money from blogging, you have got to stop kidding yourself and get real.
real money does not come from a 0.03$ or something like that per click , from a third party pcp program, nor does it come for a 2$ commission per sale from an affiliate program once a while.
the real money online, comes for direct advertisers, and direct advertisers are only interested in your high traffic and your high Page-rank, so either way it is too much work for you.
there’s a reason why there are rules and penalties by Google, if you play it safe an by the book, you’ll spend about a year to make your first 100$,
money that comes from advertisers is for high traffic or links, for the seo juice they get!
so improvise!
Many thanks and Best wishes!
