Jumia Black Friday sales 2015 started with a bang, a lot of phone lovers couldn’t wait till 6:00am to start shopping.
In fact, by 12:07am to 1:00am Jumia suffered various degrees of server issues. Jumia.com.ng was down forcing shoppers to stare at their screen waiting for Jumia to back alive.
Jumia Black Friday sales 2015 started again immediately Jumia engineers brought back the site and within minutes several phones where sold out.
We are not sure if Jumia will have other smartphones discounted for day shoppers, since the night shoppers have literally grabbed everything.
High end smartpones like Samsung Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6S saw considerate cut in price. The eCommerce promised up to 60% discounts on smartphones, even though we are yet to see any smartphone with 60% discounts, we are guessing Jumia is saving the best for the last.
