The battle of the world’s slimmest smartphone starts and ends in China. The rest of the world have got a lot of catching up to do, they would need to start from the bottom, before eventually putting up a fight with the leader of tiny smartphones, Gionee.
With more features been added to mobile phones, it becomes more difficult to put in all of those stuff into a tiny shell without causing complications. However, some mobile vendors have gone the extra mile to ensure smartphones are razor sharp.
We have the list, some of these phones could be alien to you and if you were expecting to see the big brands here, you could really be in for a shocker.
5. ZTE Grand S
China based ZTE made the list with its Athena smartphone which measures only 6.9mm in thickness. For such thickness, ZTE did a perfect job with its lovely smartphone.

4. Vivo X1
Manufactured by Chinese mobile vendor BBK, the Vivo X1 dropped alot of Jaw when it was first announced. Many had their doubts until the smartphone made an appearance in store-shelves.
It measures only 6.65mm and you could imagine how BBK was able to neatly place the internal componets into a phone that was extremely tiny in 2012.

1. Gionee Elife S5.5
This is the world’s slimmest smartphone, you have got to take off your hats for China based Gionee. It is razor sharp; it’s like nothing we have ever seen in the mobile community.
Despite its extremely tiny body, the phone does come with an Octa-core CUP chip as well a 5-inch Super AMOLED display. These features are actually mind-blowing. Too slim to handle? Get some gloves on.
