For the longest, I have been a Tecno fan and their Camon series is my favourite of their flagships for obvious reasons. Whenever there is a new Camon release, I think I should be among the first set of people to get the device- yes! it’s that serious.
So, obviously when I heard the rumours that Tecno would be dropping the CX this first quarter, I quickly placed my order and yassss! I got mine.
The camera on the Tecno Camon series has developed such a reputation for excellence and that has been the series central selling point. So, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the CX comes with very powerful camera quality- I think this should be the best selfie smartphone right now.
With an amazing dual 16MP camera, one thing is totally clear- the Tecno Camon CX has a damn fine phone camera which I would recommend for picture loving individuals like myself, who desire blurry-less and legible photos under any type of lighting condition.
Am not really into techy details but I think I should share my views (in my own way) about my Camon CX.
Alert: Tecno Camon CX Review: A Quality Phone With Crazy-Good Cameras
The Camon CX combines first- rate camera features with a ravishing display with big improvements on several specifications and a top-notch battery life, all wrapped in an attractive full metal unibody.
A smartphone predominantly marketed for its camera abilities is expected to have nothing short of an amazing shooter, right? And, I must confess my Camon CX produces amazing bright shots. With a 16MP front and rear camera accompanied with striking 9-realtime filters that allows for picture editing, I don’t need to dwell so much on doing image corrections before I upload on my different social platforms.
The CAMON CX is undeniably the best selfie smartphone of the year, its 16MP front camera flaunts a dual LED flash which makes the selfie come out amazingly bright and crispy.
Although, taking pictures in the dark wasn’t really my thing, but with the new CX, I find lowlight pictures particularly exciting.
Still on the camera, most times wider aperture is a good thing, the CX comes with a 6P lens and F/2.0 aperture which means the amount of light that enters the camera is 20% better and this gives a better night imaging. So, when lighting conditions get difficult, you can use a faster shutter speed without totally juicing the sensor’s sensitivity. That technical razzmatazz theoretically translates to brighter, crispier, cleaner, less noisy images that are free of camera shake.
What’s the deal with the design and display?
Forget it, the CAMON CX is gorgeous, there’s no doubt about that. Boasting an aluminium unibody with curved edges which help make the phone sit in your hand much more comfortably, while also providing a nicer experience when swiping from the side of the display.
Camon CX flaunts 5.6mm ultra-thin flat design and its physically the same size with its predecessor but obviously has a different shape. Nevertheless, the front facing camera is notably placed at the middle of the device, just like its predecessor- Camon C9
Just enough juice for your photos…
What can be more annoying, having to carry your charger wherever you go or having a very slow network connectivity? Commendably, the CAMON CX has a non-removable battery with 3200mAh capacity which can last up to 2 days! Its super-fast charge technology makes me charge my battery from 0% to 30% in only 30 minute.
