This is to officially welcome you to our new section; TIF [Things We Found] where we would be revealing five of the incredible things we saw on the internet during the week. We will try to have it published every Sunday or Monday. Be rest assured that our tour round the web space will always bring something exciting to you.
Feel free to bookmark this blog or memorize the blog’s name. A quick navigation to the Rez base will reveal each episode tagged volumes. So welcome to Vol. 1.
In no order of preference these are some of the few things we stumbled upon.
1. Online MP3 Cutter
How did I get here? You need not worry, but this is an incredible online music application that allows you cut musical fragment from an MP3 file. You can also cut out desired music from video files. About 150 audio and video file formats are currently supported.
2. Asteroid Nets
I stumbled upon the asteroid nets and it gave me an idea of how so thoughtful NASA actually is. This tiny satellite could deploy a net to capture an asteroid or piece of space debris and use a thruster to move it off a potential collision course.
So when NASA identifies a potential threat to our planet, all they to do is deploy invaluable asteroid nets.
3. Gifff.fr
I missed the Argentina vs Bosnia and Herzegovina match, and I really wanted to see the magic that Messi pulled off. Instead of getting a video I got an animated GIF that displayed exactly how the soccer legend literary sent two players on the floor to hit the back of the net.
From amazement, further digging led me to Gifff.fr, this will turn your YouTube videos into animated GIFs.
4. Social Media Blackout
If you live in New Zealand, this shouldn’t be new but for the rest of us, there is a law that requires all blogs, websites and social media sites in New Zealand to disable their comment box on election days because of “election silence”
5. Vetusware
Do you need a downgraded version of a program you have installed on your PC? If you think you can’t find them no more, you may have to think again as Vetusware looks set to become the biggest repository of abandon-wares. You need Corel Draw 3? You should find it there.
That’s about it, thanks for your time, and hope to see you around next week. Which of these five things really got you impressed?
