To get the Marshmallow update on Tecno Camon C8, you will need the following;

What You Need:

Android 6.0 Marshmallow (868MB)

Users with rooted device may experience difficulty trying to update their phone which may eventually brick it. You are advised to run these steps on a non-rooted Tecno Camon C8.

Move the downloaded file, Tcard_update_20160415 to the root folder of your SD card

Turn off your phone

Hold Power Button + Volume Up. Release the power button when you see the startup logo, then release Volume Up button when you see the Android logo

Hold the Power Button for 2 seconds, (Do not release it), then press the Volume Up button to reveal the interface below

Navigate with the Volume Down to Apply update from SDcard, press Power Button to select

Use the Volume Down to navigate to Tcard_update_20160415 and select with Power Button

Allow the installation to start and finish, reboot only when the setup is complete.
